Job Description:
Client is the leading independent provider of simulation models for Radio Frequency and Microwave (RF/MW) devices, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Business and Development. The position will be responsible for driving strategic growth, expanding business opportunities, and contributing strongly to all aspects of business development, sales, and marketing. This executive role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in the RF and microwave electronics industry, exceptional communication skills, and strong business acumen.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
- Significant experience in business development, sales, and marketing leadership, preferably within the RF/microwave electronics sector.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing growth strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), CRM, and database management software.
- S. Citizenship or permanent residence required.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing comprehensive business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Leading, mentoring, and managing the sales and marketing teams, including recruitment, training, and performance management of internal staff and external representatives.
- Overseeing the management and prioritization of sales leads, customer relationship management (CRM), and opportunity tracking to ensure timely and effective follow-up.
- Building and nurturing strategic partnerships, alliances, and customer relationships to expand the company’s market presence.
- Directing all marketing and communications initiatives, including press releases, newsletters, website content, tradeshows, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (sales, applications, customer support) to ensure seamless customer experiences and high satisfaction.
- Providing executive oversight for administrative functions related to business development, such as meeting and travel arrangements, correspondence, and support for sales and marketing coordinators.
- Ensuring that all customers receive efficient, courteous, and accurate support and service.
- Representing client at industry events, conferences, and with key stakeholders.
